UnionStation2 Built in 1914, Union Station is a fully restored landmark in Kansas City which is our most prominent destination for cultural and entertainment activities. It offers a permanent rail exhibit called the KC Rail Experience, traveling exhibits produced by the Smithsonian and other national organizations, Science City and a Theater District featuring giant-screen movies, live theater, and a planetarium, and much more.

jazzMuseumThe historic 18th and Vine Jazz District seeks to preserve this historic cultural neighborhood, rich in the heritage and legacy of Kansas City’s African American traditions. ww1MuseumDesignated by Congress as the nation’s official World War I Museum in 2004, it operates as non-profit organization dedicated to honoring those who served in the Great War.
