Meet the guild
The Sunflower Piecemakers guild was established in 1994 and has approximately 95 members.

Sunflower Piecemakers meets the second Thursday of each month at Lansing Community Center, 800 1st Terrace in Lansing, Kansas.

Every year our guild hosts a quilt show the first Saturday in May at the Lansing Activity Center located at 108 S 2nd St, Lansing KS 66043. This event is a staple of our guild’s purpose. Sharing our craft and perpetuating the ongoing interest in this traditional hobby is an important part of our community enrichment. On display will be beautiful and exceptional quilts made by our guild members, ranging in a variety of styles and methods. We will also have a boutique where attendees may purchase small items crafted by our members. Other features of the show are special displays, demonstrations, used books and magazines for sale, and last but not least several vendors from the area. There is no admittance charge, but we do accept donations. The guild show is also a great time to purchase a chance on a raffle for our Opportunity Quilt! Please come out and see everything we have to offer.

Charity efforts of the guild include making and donating over 90 quilts a year.
