Lori Lee Triplett, Business Manager for Quilt and Textile Collections, has successfully combined a variety of passions which include research, writing, and performing into the quilt world. As a lecturer and instructor she brings her experience from stage, screen, and radio to make the presentations fun yet educational.
Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival has scheduled a trunk show and two dyeing workshops with Lori. In her trunk show — “Out of Africa” — you will meet Mary MacAlister, a missionary who went to Africa, and hear about her adventures and textile discoveries. Lori makes taking one of her dyeing workshops fun and easy — she brings all the supplies, you show up in “old” clothes and enjoy the process!
