Nancy Swanwick is the ultimate teacher! She grew up in a family in the fabric business, so she comes by her love of fabric naturally. Since retiring from her job in high school education, she has been in full quilt production — dreaming up, being inspired, and starting and finishing many projects.
An enthusiastic supporter of Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival, here is a picture of Nancy with her quilt that won her a blue ribbon for hand quilting at KCRQF 2015.
Nancy is proficient in both machine and hand techniques. Her classes for Festival will not only teach skills, but inspire.
The residents of Fort Scott, Kansas, are often treated to Nancy’s “quilts on the porch” — you can see more of her quilts on her Facebook page.
Full descriptions of Nancy’s classes can be found on the website Here. Sign up for her classes here: http://kcrqf.com/festival-info/festival-passes-events-classes/
