Doris Deutmeyer

Doris is a lifelong artist, teacher, and designer loving all things art, fabric and landscape. She has a B A in Art Education and has taught all age levels. In 1997 Doris began creating original fused landscape art quilts and mini paper pieced quilts; selling hundreds of these originals at fine art and craft shows throughout the Midwest. After catching the attention of quilters she was encouraged to share her expertise by giving workshops, lectures, and offering patterns. Her home based business, Fabrications by Doris, has evolved into a line of self published landscape art quilts and mini quilt patterns, as well as landscape quilting fabric.
