Jane Bromberg

Jane Bromberg is a quilt designer, teacher and lecturer in Kansas City, MO. Jane loves to teach and inspire other quilt enthusiasts to develop their own creativity. Besides designing pieced quilt tops, Jane creates original designs using photos that she takes of whatever catches her eye. Jane has had quilts in national AQS shows and in Quiltcon 2013. Finishing Up Workshop
Thursday, June 13, 8:00 – 11:00 and 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Domestic Sewing Machine Class —
If you are confident making and applying traditional bindings, then this class will teach you to make several different styles of facings and edge finishes. Students will learn how to make a facing for a quilt, prairie points, scallops, flanges, accent pieces, and a pieced binding. Students will go home with samples of each technique to use for reference.
Kit Fee $5.00 (paid to the instructor)

Supply List
Normal sewing notions including a ruler and rotary cutter and mat.
Fat Quarters
2 ¼ or 2 ½ inch strips to use for binding

The $5.00 fee covers the cost for sample quilts that the students will use to learn the binding techniques. Students will go home with their samples.
