KCRQF – Virtual Quilt Show

As we prepare for Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival 2021, we will continue our Wednesday posts of virtual quilt show.  Here are two more wonderful examples of guild quilts from KCRQF 2019.

Home Sweet Home

“Home Sweet Home” was made by Roberta Foth of Topeka, Kansas.  The pattern is by Laundry Basket Designs and Roberta said “This was a BOM at Stitching Traditions.  Since I love hand applique, I couldn’t pass this one up! It uses all Edyta Sitar fabrics.”

Musical Chairs

“Musical Chairs” is an original design by Judy Chaffee of Lenexa, Kansas.  Her quilt story:  “Inspiration taken from our quilt guild’s holiday game, ‘Fold it – Snip It – Rip It- Drop It – Pass It!’  The passing portion with music playing and stopping and starting reminded me of musical chairs!  All fabrics were required to be used.  Machine applique technique.”
