Made by Deanna Moehle of Kansas City, Missouri — Quilted by Maxine Hick, “That Town and Country Quilt” is 84″ x 84″. The pattern is by Gourmet Quilter. Here’s what Deanna says about making this: “I liked the pattern so well I did one in blues and one in tans. I incorporated some Kansas City features in the street story.”
Border Wars – Missouri
An original design by Chris Jacobs of Kansas City, Missouri, “Border Wars” is 52 1/2″ x 49 1/2″. Chris says: “A modern spin on two traditions; the time honored t-shirt quilt and the historical Missouri/Kansas border war.” Features improv piecing of t-shirt graphics and honors the rich history of the KU and MU rivalry.
