Finishing a Quilt with Facing (Instead of Binding)
Class Details
If you’ve made even one quilt, you are likely familiar with a binding technique. However, another option for finishing the edge of a quilt is applying a facing. Facings offer a smoother finish around the perimeter of your project that works very well in certain circumstances. Kelly will discuss when – and when not – to use a facing, then she’ll guide you through her process of applying and finishing a quilt facing. This is another good tool to add to your quilty toolbox!
