Do you ever find yourself in need of a quick project to both challenge and stimulate you? Do you love to multitask and are looking to get the most out of your precious sewing time? Do you have far too many scraps and enjoy making small projects or just want to play with color studies? If you answered yes to any of the above questions Scrappy Quilt As You Go is the class for you. Tia Curtis has used the QAYG technique for years to test out ideas and then make bags, gifts and quilts with the results. Let Tia show you some of her favorite techniques to make really useful QAYG pieces. You will feel comfortable creating in a judgment free zone and leave inspired to dump all your scraps out on the floor and make wonderful things when you get home. Tia will also show you how to join quilted pieces together so you can easily create large studies from multiple quilted pieces.
At the end of class we will make our little piece into a little quilted bucket bag. If you would like to participate, please bring a fat quarter for the lining and a 2.5 inch x 20 inch strip of fabric for the binding. If you like the color of the lining you can use the same fabric for the binding.
