Denyse Schmidt — KCRQF 2019 Instructor!

A leader in the modern quilt movement, Denyse has been sewing since she was a young girl.  Using her background as a graphic designer, she helped change the way we think about quilts and reinterprets tradition to create modern quilts that are fresh and offbeat.

She loves to share her knowledge, style and creativity through classes, patterns and her fabric designs. Her fabric has a modern twist, influenced by the vintage charm of some of her favorite flea market finds!

Find out more about Denyse and her designs on her website, and follow her on Facebook.

We look forward to hosting Denyse next June for Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival!
