Here is an updated description for the EQ8 class being offered by Reeze Hanson for Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival on Friday, June 14 —
EQ8 for Beginners
This is a hands on introduction to EQ8 for new users or those upgrading from EQ7. Learn to navigate the new, more intuitive user interface to draw and design blocks and quilts. Learn to draw and edit quilt blocks, create quilt layouts and add blocks, borders, and sashing to your quilts. Calculate fabric for your project and print templates, foundation patterns or rotary cutting charts to bring your designs to life. A laptop computer with EQ8 installed and activated, prior to class, is required. Bring your power cord, and a mouse is a must!
Please note — this is a hand on class — it is an excellent opportunity to have Reeze guide you through what you need to do to start designing quilts on your computer! Class size is limited to 25 — don’t miss out.
