Jessica Drugg
Jessica Drugg is originally from Iowa but now calls KC home. At a very young age, she was in the quilt shops picking out material for the next quilt to have her mom make. About 15 years ago, Jessica started making her own quilts when she was living in Atlanta and wanted to find a new hobby. Jessica bought her first Laura Heine pattern about three years ago and fell in love with collage quilts after completing the first one. To take her love of collage to the next level, in May of 2024, Jessica traveled to Laura Heine’s shop in Montana to take a special class from
Laura, and is now certified to teach her method of collage. In April of 2025, Jessica will be returning to Montana to become an Advanced Certified Instructor. As an Advanced Certified Instructor, she will be able to teach the method of adding shade to collages with InkTense pencils.
When not collaging, Jessica is spending time with her two Goldendoodles, traveling with friends and family, going to country concerts and cheering for her beloved teams: K-State, the Green Bay Packers, the New York Yankees, and the Chiefs as long as they aren’t playing the Packers.
