Nancy Troyer

I currently live in Shawnee, Kansas with my husband of 21 years. I am a quilter who began quilting in the mid 70’s, and that quilting journey led me to my full-time job as a long arm quilter.
For me, working with vintage sewing machines has become quite addictive. As my collection of machines grew, I found very few people who would service these machines. After years of researching, trial and error, I have become the Vintage Sewing Machine guru, with special focus on the Singer 221 Featherweight.
I have been conducting workshops throughout the Midwest for the last 10 years. After my first workshop I discovered there were many, many featherweight owners who would like to maintain their own machines. Often, after a workshop, some quilters find a renewed enthusiasm for a featherweight that has not been used in years.
I am always excited to share my knowledge with others, and often learn something new myself with each workshop.
