It’s Wednesday! Two more stunning quilts from Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival 2019.
“Chestnut and Vine” was created by Pam Palmer of Smithville, Missouri, and quilted by Quilt 4 You. The pattern is by Bloom Creek and the quilt measures 82″ x 82″. Pam says: “This quilt reminds me of the Kansas City Jazz District at 18th and Vine. The quilting that Lee and Becky did is more visible and striking on the back side of the quilt.”
“Circle Jubilee” was made by Gwen Whitebread of Baldwin City, Kansas. The quilt is 85″ x 85″ and it was quilted by Kelly Cline. Gwen says: “Was given this pattern by a Kaw Valley Quilt Guild member when she saw I was making yo-yos. The design called for circles, but I used numerous red yo-yos. Worked on it for 2 years.”
