Teeny Tiny Collage: Laura Heine Collage Method

Join Laura Heine Certified Instructor, Cindy Farrow, as she teaches you how to collage - the Laura Heine way! 

For this class, choose one design from Group #5:  The Pincushion, Dress Form or The Sewing Machine. The Teeny Tiny’s measure approximately 16" x 20". 

In this class you will learn the tools for success, collage basics, recognizing details in fabric that will add to your design, and making your work unique!

For this class, you will need:

• Collage Supply Kit that contains. Class Special Price is $54.99.
  • The Teeny Tiny Group #5 Pattern
  • Pattern Ease
  • Steam A Seam 2
  • Marking Pencil
• A “Get You Started Fabric” pack will be available for an additional fee. Packs will be available as we get closer to the class date and during the class.
• * Refer to the back of pattern for specific requirements for fabric yardage, and other specific supplies for your pattern. Each student must have their own pattern. No sharing or photocopied copies allowed.

Supply List:

• Bring your favorite fabric scraps for background and focal points of your chosen design.
• #2 Pencil
• Karen K Buckley Perfect Scissors in size Medium - (Blue Handles)
• Goddess Appliqué Pressing Sheet (17.5” x 24”) OR the Precision Fusing Mat (17” x 24”)
• Small Rotary Cutter, Cutting Mat (12” x 18”) and Ruler (3” x 12” Suggested Size)
• A pair of Utility Scissors for Cutting Paper
• OPTIONAL: a small travel size iron and portable ironing board will come in handy.

You do not need to bring a Sewing Machine to class -- you will need it later to finish quilting and binding your collage.

Other required products are available from The Fabric Chic. The shop is located in the Kansas City area and I will be vending at the Regional Quilt Festival. Supplies will be available for purchase at the festival and day of the class. You can also purchase supplies from my website - www.TheFabricChic.com.
