Tumbling Blocks – Triaxail (Mad) Weaving

Yes, this method is also known as MAD weaving. Take a break from your traditional sewing methods and learn to weave fabric on vertical and 30-degree lines. We will be doing the Tumbling Block with 1” bias pre-folded binding tape to make an 11” x 11” square. This technique can be used to make potholders, placemats, purses and bags, or even embellish a denim jacket. Let your imagination go and you’ll find many ways to use this technique.

We will also discuss the layout for doing the triaxial star or cube before class ends.
