  1. what thread to use and why; does thread differ
  2. how to float the top
  3. how to baste the top for custom quilting
  4. how to keep the quilt square during the quilting process
  5. how to add continuous border designs
  6. how to address quilt tops with problems
  7. addressing extra fabric in blocks and borders
  8. how to attach the binding with the longarm
  9. how to add more backing when you run out while on the frame
  10. how to add batting to an already loaded quilt
  11. raising the hopping foot for thicker fabrics
  12. how to baste the bottom edge of the quilt to keep things tidy and remove the quilt from the leader.
  13. how to do freehand designs such as feathers, swirls, leaves that can be used in the continuous orders.
  14. introduction to ruler work 
  15. the importance of practice, practice, practice
You will make a sample project of an all over center design with 2—3 border designs.
