Welsh Quilting is a style of quilting that combines linework and organic shapes to create
timeless quilting motifs. In Welsh Quilting Just the Borders Tia Curtis will teach you how to break up your borders into various geometric shapes, then fill them in with classic Welsh motifs. This is a great class if you want to improve your ruler work and use minimal quilt marking. This class will also introduce you to a whole new realm of designs so it is perfect if you think your long arm quilting needs a little refresh from history. This class is taught on the longarm, but the same principals apply if you want to quilt on your domestic machine. Each student will leave class with a heavily quilted class piece to refer back to as well as a handout to continue their work at home.
