Star Flower Pixel Design
Class Details
Do you struggle with corners matching up when working with small multiple squares? Do you want to use a crochet pattern, cross stitch pattern, beading pattern (or anything on a graph) to make a quilt? How about making miniature quilts, or placemats with intricate designs? Potholders to bed quilts can be made with this technique. We will be using lightweight fusible as we layout our design. After fusing, you sew vertical and horizontal lines, and you are done. Well, along with that important clipping, butting up, and pressing of seams.
Our project is a star flower in the KCRQF colors. The flower block is 19” by 19” when finished. You can turn it into a pillow, table topper or finish it out with borders to make a lap quilt.
In class we will share irons and have the use of wonderful sewing machines.
