Meet the guild
Northland Quilters Guild was established in 1982 and has about 96 members. Northland has been guild for 31 years because a group of ladies decided to have a quilt show as an effort to raise money to help fund the building of the Northland Fountain on North Oak and I-35.

The guild meets the second Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Meetings are held at Gashland Methodist Church located at 7715 N. Oak Trafficway in Kansas City, Missouri. Zip code for GPS is 64118.

The Northland Quilters Guild has a silent auction at their quilt show that benefits a local non-profit organization, raising approximately $1,000 each year.

The guild has a program called “Quilted Blessings” where they give baby or lap quilts to organizations that have a need for them.
