How to turn your Favorite Landscape into a Paperpieced Masterpiece

Have you wanted to create your own pieced quilt from a photo? Bring your laptop & a sense of adventure to join Heather to create a custom paper piece layout of this beautiful barn photograph. With the techniques & skills you learn you will be able to create a masterpiece from any photo you have.

Heather has used this technique to create anime themed quilts for her children – including the highly detailed quilt “Cyberpunk David” that is shown in the photo gallery.  There are photographs in the gallery featuring the finished quilt as well as the design process images.

All quilts are created with the finished blocks at 8×10″ to make assembly easier. We will break down how to sketch the patterns, pitfalls in piecing to watch out for & how to create the paper pieced sections.  Everything will be printable on standard 8.5×11″ paper – pair that paper size with newsprint sheets found in bulk on Amazon and you have a perfect fit for paper piecing!
